A Minnesota man was arrested last night following a high-speed chase involving the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Around 9:30 last night Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies were notified of a vehicle pursuit on I-94 involving the Wisconsin State Patrol near Hixton. Jackson County Deputies picked up the chase on N. Pole Grove Road and Highway 121, with the suspect vehicle reaching speeds of 104 mph. The pursuit led through Alma Center and Merrillan before a tire deflation device was used to slow the car. The vehicle continued into Clark County, where the vehicle entered a ditch. The driver attempted to flee the scene on foot, but was apprehended by deputies. The driver of the car was identified as 25-year-old Kyle Flanagan of Isanti, MN. Flanagan was found in possession of marijauna and had several active warrants for his arrest. During the investigation, it was determined that the vehicle Flanagan was driving was stolen from Waunakee, WI. Flanagan was arrested for his outstanding warrants as well as Knowingly Fleeing an Officer, Operating a Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Obstructing an Officer.
