A state vaccine advisory subcommittee is backing a phase 1-B vaccine rollout plan that would greatly expand the people eligible for a shot. The full committee would still have to give its approval to include grocery workers, meat processors, transit bus drivers, teachers, daycare workers, college professors, 9-1-1 dispatchers, and state prisoners. That would basically mean one-third of Wisconsin’s adult population – one-point-six-million people – could seek vaccination. One doctor points out that the list doesn’t include people under 65 with heart disease, kidney disease, cancer, or other serious health issues.
