One person was injured when a semi-truck struck a fireworks stand in Oakdale on Tuesday morning. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office reports that the driver of the semi, 47-year-old Richard Isaboke of New Jersey, had a medical emergency prior to the semi leaving the roadway and running into the fireworks stand located at the Love’s Travel Stop in Oakdale. 77-year-old Ettamae Henze of Wilton was in the fireworks stand when the truck hit it, and she sustained a head injury. Both Henze and Isaboke were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Isaboke was later airlifted by med-flight to La Crosse.
