A drowning at Lake Wazee, Friday afternoon, has left one dead. According to Jackson County Sheriff Duane Waldera, it happened around 3:40. 911 received several calls that a male party had not resurfaced from the lake. As first responders arrived, bystanders were pulling the male party from the water to the beach. Lifesaving efforts were immediately taken, though unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
