The Karner Blue Butterfly Festival is on this year, and plans are being made for the annual Karner Blue 5K Run/Walk. The 5K is scheduled for July 24th, and the route will be on the foundation trail starting and ending near the Black River Area Chamber of Commerce Building. Participants can register the day of the event, and can start anytime between 8:00 am and 11:00 am to allow for social distancing. According to the Chamber of Commerce, participants will receive a goody bag for participating. Registration costs $5 for kids 12 & under, and $10 for anyone older than 13.
