The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports a record 22,072 people were vaccinated Thursday. That represents a new high for a 24-hour period. More than 285,000 vaccines have been administered across Wisconsin, so far. The D-H-S just announced this week that people aged 65 and old will be eligible for vaccination starting Monday. At the same time, public health officials are asking for patience due to the slow rollout of doses from the federal government. Wisconsin gets about 70,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine each week and that may not change before mid-to-late February.
