Out-of-state students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison would have to pay 743 dollars more in tuition under a plan approved by the Board of Regents Friday. Students at seven campuses in the U-W System would be affected. The increase for the Madison campus is the biggest among the schools. Undergraduate and graduate students would be affected. The change could be big for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls – where 53 percent of students enrolled there are from outside this state. Campuses affected are in Eau Claire, Madison, Oshkosh, Platteville, River Falls, Stout, and Whitewater.
