The Black River Falls Police Department has released information that a registered sex offender will be released from prison on May 17th. John Hobein has served his sentence for 2nd and 3rd degree sexual assault of a child and repeated sexual assault of the same child. John is 5’4” American Indian male, weighing 152 pounds and has black hair. According to authorities, Hobein will be living at 5 S. Roosevelt Road in Black River Falls, and will be under surveillance through the Black River Falls Wisconsin Department of Corrections office.
