A spokesperson for Triple-A Wisconsin says it remains to be seen if the release of 50-million barrels of oil from the country’s strategic oil reserves has the intended effect. The Biden administration authorized the release Tuesday. Triple-A’s Nick Jarmusz says we won’t really know what the effect will be for another week or so. The average price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.11 Tuesday in Wisconsin. The national average was $3.40 a gallon.
