Renea M. Stoker, 72 of Black River Falls, Wisconsin passed away February 2, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus, Rochester, Minnesota. She and her twin sister were born January 4, 1950 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin the daughters of Delores (Hansen) and Cecil Eddy.
Renea married Norman Eugene Stoker. She attended WWTC in LaCrosse and graduated from the nursing program as an LPN then later a Register Nurse. She worked at Black River Memorial Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse, then retired from Pine View Care Center after working 28 years as a Registered Nurse. Norman and Renea loved to dance and travel together. She enjoyed baking, quilting and spending time traveling on her “sister trips” with her twin sister and friends.
Renea is survived by her husband Norman, daughter Marti (Tracy) Herzberg of Black River Falls, stepdaughters Cheryl (Randy) Jurowski of Independence and Sharon (Greg) Halama of Whitehall, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, brothers Jack (Marie) Eddy and Bruce (Cheryl) Eddy, twin sister of Renell Smith and sister Mary (David) Overlien, six nieces, six nephews and too many friends to count. She is preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Sharon Eddy and brother-in-law Steven Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held at United Methodist Church in Black River Falls. Please check back for service and visitation times.
The Buswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
