Sandra Lou Kauss, nee Johnson, age 75 died in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Irene (Kutchera) and Gaylord Johnson, September 3, 1945.
Sandy was baptized, confirmed and married in the Squaw Creek Lutheran Church. Quoting her, “I am not terribly religious but grateful for having been brought up in the Lutheran Church”. She was proud of her rural background and Norwegian heritage.

Her last 21 years were spent at Pine View Nursing Home.
She loved to read, especially biographies, walk, watch birds feed on the porch and attend a variety of classes. Her greatest joy were her grandchildren. She was a source of unconditional love and resilience for her children and grandchildren.
