No one was injured when a semi-truck caught fire earlier this (Wednesday) morning on I-94 near Hixton. The Wisconsin State Patrol reports that a trooper noticed a semi-truck on fire around 1:30 this morning just east of Hixton at mile-marker 107. When the trooper arrived on scene, the driver had been able to separate the cab from the trailer, and the trailer was completely engulfed in flames on the right shoulder of I-94. The trailer was loaded with cans of soda. Hixton Fire assisted on the scene and were able to extinguish the fire within 30 minutes after arriving on the scene.
