Members of the Wisconsin Senate won’t be allowed to attend today’s (Thursday’s) session remotely. Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu made the announcement Wednesday. Senate President Roger Roth had complained that Democrats were being inconsistent about whether or not they would attend remotely. Roth said that showed it was about “convenience” and not about safety. Democratic Senators have complained in the past that some of their Republican colleagues refuse to wear face masks both during the session and in committee meetings.
