SkillsUSA Wisconsin Regional Competition Heads to Menomonie

The final SkillsUSA Wisconsinregional competition in 2025 will be held on Thurs. Feb. 27 and Fri. Feb. 28, with the majority of the competitions being conducted at the University of Wisconsin – Stout, 712 South Broadway Street in Menomonie, WI.

More than 335 students from the following schools will compete:

The competitions run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 27 and from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 28. Judging will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 28, with awards and closing ceremonies at 12:30 p.m.

     *The Automotive Service Technology competition will be held at Menomonie High School, 1715 5th Street West, in Menomonie.

Those who place in the regional competition will advance to participate in the 52nd annual SkillsUSA Wisconsin State Leadership and Skills Conference in Madison. Other competitors in the category can participate in the State Leadership and Skills Conference until the maximum number of competitors in the category is reached. State competitions will occur at the Alliant Energy Center, 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way, and Madison Area Technical College (MATC), 1701 Wright St.

The 2025 conference will feature more than 1,750 middle, high school, and college/post-secondary students, over 200 teachers, and more than 300 industry volunteers working in over 75 competitions.

Founded in 1973, SkillsUSA Wisconsin, with more than 2,500 members in over 150 chapters, is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry representatives working together to ensure America has the skilled workforce needed to stay competitive. The diverse talent pipeline covers 120 trades, technical, and skilled service occupations, mostly related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
