States grants are headed to five Wisconsin nonprofits whose mission is to help small businesses grow. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation says the 170-thousand dollars worth of grants are being targeted into areas where they can do the most good. He says if the local groups have an idea of increasing entrepreneurship the W-E-D-C gives them some funding so they can try it. The groups getting the funding include the Hmong American Center in Wausau, Nicolet College in Rhinelander, and Rising Queens in Beloit.
