Several state lawmakers have introduced two proposals that would have the state government getting all of its paper products from Wisconsin-based companies. Democrats say it might cost a little more, but it’s still a good thing. One of the proposals would encourage the Department of Administration to buy American, while the other would limit the purchase of paper to companies based in the Badger State. Democratic State Senator Brad Pfaff says buying paper from a Wisconsin company helps Wisconsin workers in Wisconsin mills – and it helps keep Wisconsin communities going.
