Black River Public Transit, the City of Black River Falls’ shared-ride taxi service, is now
open! Service resumed on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. The 715-284-4511 phone
number is still valid to call and request a taxi.
The City awarded the shared-ride taxi service contract to Abby Vans, Inc. which is based
in Neillsville, WI. Abby Vans is encouraging clients to set up accounts and make
reservations by visiting their client website at http://www.abbyvans.com/clients .
Black River Public Transit operates daily from 6:00am to 10:00pm. Fares are $7.00 for
adults aged 18-64, $5.00 for students aged 4-17, $3.00 for elderly aged 65+, $3.00 for
disabled, and $4.00 per mile for rides outside the service area. Pickup and drop off
destinations are limited to the City of Black River Falls and 5 miles surrounding.
