Thomas Joseph Witcraft, age 64, of Blair, died in the Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall on Friday May 28, 2021.
Thomas was born November, 18, 1956 in Wisconsin Rapids to Frederick and MaryAnn (Hoks) Witcraft. He graduated from Mauston High School and married Dawn Meeker and later divorced. Then he married Kandace Johnson on June 8, 1991 in the St. Ansgar Catholic Church.
On the off chance that Tom wasn’t at work, he enjoyed a few simple pleasures. Some of his most cherished times were spent working on the ’83 Monte Carlo with Grant, his nightly phone calls with Kendall, motorcycle rides and camping with his lovely wife, going to the races with his boys, fixing bicycles with the neighborhood kids, and helping out in the community. He was also a Boy Scout Leader for about 20 years and received the Blair Civic Award in 2016. He was so proud of his boys and his daughter-in-law.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Kandace; two sons, Grant (Amy) and Kendall; three brothers, Bill (Vickie), Steve (Dawn), and Dave (Wendy); a sister, Lois Bires, his mother-in-law Karen Johnson, step sons Jason and Justin Madsen, goddaughters Grace Johnson and Tava Hornberg, his little sweety Bristol Bishop and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter Jillian and his father-in-law Merlin Johnson.
