The Tomah VA Medical Center will honor two distinguished U.S. Army Veterans during its 2025 Hall of Heroes Induction Ceremony this Thursday, December 4th. Specialist Martin Waltemath and First Lieutenant Leland Chenoweth will be recognized for their exceptional bravery, service, and contributions to the community.
Local leadership, family members, and friends will join Veterans and community members for the ceremony, which runs from 2:00 to 3:15 p.m. at the Tomah VA Medical Center’s Veterans Hall, located at 500 East Veterans Street.
Since 2005, the Hall of Heroes has celebrated Veterans who demonstrate extraordinary courage or community service—growing from just two original inductees into a cherished annual tradition.
