Tyler E. Decorah, age 35, of Onalaska, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectantly on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Tyler was born on November 4, 1986, to Eunice Winneshiek and Edward Decorah.

He graduated from Amundsen High School in Chicago in 2005. He moved back to Black River Falls and currently lived in Onalaska and worked as a carpenter/roofer.

He loved to spend time with his son and enjoyed being with his family. He was a dedicated fan to Chicago Bears, Bulls, Cubs, & Blackhawks.

He is survived by his parents, and his son, Kendrick. He was also survived by sisters, Fawn Smith, Jackie Snow and Kennedy Decorah, and his brother, Robert Smith; nephews, Clayton Wamego, Ryan Wamego, Troy Stumblingbear, Kenai Standstraight, Cire Snow and nieces, Briana Wamego, Calista Stumblingbear, Shundiin Snow, and Renae Snow.

He was preceded in death by his brother Arlen “BJ” Wamego; and sister, Sheri Smith; nephew, Aaron Stumblingbear; maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Imogene Winneshiek, and paternal grandparents, Ed Decorah and Francella Lewis.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Buswell funeral home and burial will follow at the United Church of Christ in the Indian Mission.

Before visitation there will be Private Services for family at 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
