The USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) has designated a Secretarial natural disaster for Wisconsin due to a wet spring, allowing for emergency loans to aid producers recovering from the excessive moisture. These loans can help cover essential recovery needs, including replacing equipment, livestock, or refinancing debts.

The application deadline for these emergency loans is June 23, 2025. Primary counties eligible include Bayfield, Milwaukee, and Wood, with several contiguous counties also eligible, such as Adams, Ashland, and Jackson, among others. FSA will assess loan applications based on loss extent, available security, and repayment ability.
