(Madison, WI) — The former owner of the Waunakee Veterinary Clinic is denying allegations of animal abuse. Not guilty pleas were entered on behalf of Doctor Wesley Arnett in an initial court hearing yesterday. The veterinarian is facing six misdemeanor charges related to claims by pet owners that he struck and kicked animals in his care. Arnett is released on bond and is barred from treating or handling any live animals besides the ones he owns.
