When Vice President Kamala Harris participates in a Tuesday roundtable discussion in Milwaukee it will almost be like coming home. Harris’ family lived in Madison when she was very young. Tuesday’s discussion will center on the Biden administration’s two-trillion-dollar infrastructure bill. A part of that massive spending plan calls for the removal of every lead-based pipe in the country. To pay for the huge project, corporate taxes would be raised. One Milwaukee business owner worries the country will become non-competitive on the world market again.
