George Lee Payne, 57, of West Salem, Wisconsin, has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol’s Tomah Post for his sixth OWI offense.
A Wisconsin State Trooper initiated a traffic stop in Crawford County. During the stop, the trooper requested that Payne perform field sobriety tests, which he refused.
Payne registered a .292 on a preliminary breath test and was subsequently arrested for operating while impaired, sixth offense.
The investigation remains ongoing, pending the results of a legal blood draw.
