A Whitehall native is a finalist for Wisconsin’s 79th Alice in Dairyland. Wisconsin’s DATCP has named the six finalists for this year’s competition. They include Kelly Herness of Whitehall, Faith Baerwolf of Columbus, Gabrielle Huitema from Markesan, Jessica Moor of Wilson, Anastasia Poull from Port Washington, and Michelle Stangler of Watertown. Over the next two months, they’ll receive training in agriculture, media, and public speaking as part of the selection process. The three-day finals are set for May in Marathon County, with the winner announced May 16. The new Alice in Dairyland’s term begins July 6th.
