Wilbert A. Breheim went into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by his family on December 7, 2021. Wilb was born February 3,1954, in Black River Falls, the son of Hazel (Dunn) and Wilbert Breheim. Wilb was baptized and confirmed at the United Methodist Church and attended elementary school in Merrillan. In 1973 he graduated from Lincoln High School. He married his high school sweetheart Vonnie Flicek in 1976. Together they had two children Jeremy and Emily. Wilb enjoyed coaching his children and their friends in basketball, little league baseball and softball growing up. He even played shortstop on two slow-pitch softball teams for many years.

Wilb worked at the Foundry plant, Nelson Filter plant in Neillsville, and J&A Liquidators in Merrillan before starting at Leeson in Black River Falls. He wanted to see his children get a good education, so he got a second job working as a Black Jack Dealer to help pay for their college degrees.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and his property, where he was always busy tending to his blueberries, apples, and wood cutting. Wilb’s family meant more to him than anything in the world. His favorite thing was spending time with his loved ones and could often be found watching his grandchildren play sports, spending time at Callahan Lake for their summer vacation together every year and one of his favorite achievements was having his grandson request that Papa be on his birthday cake for eight years and counting.
