Winning Powerball and All or Nothing tickets continue hot December for Lotto players

A couple of Wisconsin Lottery players got big gifts this holiday season.
A $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold at Festival Foods in Appleton for the December 27 drawing. The ticket matched four of five numbers plus the Powerball, and with the $1 Power Play, the prize doubled from $50,000 to $100,000.

Meanwhile in Omro, a $100,000 All or Nothing ticket was sold at Kwik Trip for the December 26 Midday drawing, matching all 11 numbers.

December has been a hot month for lottery luck in Wisconsin, with 18 Powerball prizes of $50,000 or more won statewide. Retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 also earn a two-percent incentive.

Players have 180 days to claim prizes, and details are available at wilottery.com or through the Wisconsin Lottery mobile app.

All or Nothing drawings are held twice daily, and Powerball drawings take place Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights
