Wisconsin Lottery players had a big Monday, with three major winning tickets sold across the state.
A $146,000 Badger 5 winning ticket was sold at River Country CO-OP in Dorchester for Monday’s drawing.
Meanwhile, two Powerball tickets also hit big. A $100,000 ticket was sold at Otto’s Wine Cask in Brown Deer, while a $50,000 ticket was sold at The Market in Beaver Dam. Both tickets matched four of the five white-ball numbers—3, 16, 33, 38 and 68—plus the Powerball, 2. The Brown Deer ticket included the $1 Power Play, doubling the prize to $100,000.
Powerball has been especially active in Wisconsin. Five winning tickets worth $50,000 or more have been sold in the state over the last six drawings.
Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Winning tickets can also be checked through the Wisconsin Lottery mobile app or at wilottery.com.
Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets worth more than $599 can receive a two-percent incentive, up to $100,000.
And a reminder: Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m., with tickets needing to be purchased by 9 p.m. Badger 5 is drawn every night after 9 p.m.
