The Wisconsin Capitol has been reopened to the public, but tours haven’t resumed yet. The Evers administration took the step Monday. The Capitol building was closed to the public in March of last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Lawmakers have been working there since January, but the building was opened Monday for the first time in more than a year. Visitors are welcomed on weekdays, but tours of “the people’s building” haven’t resumed yet.
