Wisconsin state parks are on track for another record number of visitors. During the coronavirus pandemic, visiting a state park has become a good way for people to get out of the house and enjoy mother nature, without dealing with inside crowds. The Department of Natural Resources reports a 22% increase in the number of state park visitors during 2020. That trend has continued this year even during the colder months. State officials say updated information on state parks can help you plan your visit and it can be found online at dnr.wisconsin.gov.
