The pandemic seemed to be easing and people started getting out last year. That’s one major factor in a 21% jump in tourism spending in Wisconsin. A report from the Wisconsin Department of Tourism indicates those tourists had an economic impact on the state of more than $20-billion. Officials say people took more than 100-million trips in the Badger State. That figure is also higher than the previous year.
