The unemployment rate in Wisconsin remained unchanged in February at 3.8%. The Department of Workforce Development reports total non-farm jobs declined by 4,500 last month and private sector jobs were down by 1,000 in February. Wisconsin’s unemployment rate last February was 3.3% just before the COVID pandemic began. The state’s jobless rate more than two points lower than the national rate of 6.4%.
