The Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, February 16 at 6 p.m. in the Lincoln Junior/Senior High School Library.

The board will begin with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call, followed by approval of the consent agenda. That includes minutes from the December 15 meeting and more than $560,000 in combined payroll, accounts payable, direct deposits, and wire transfers. Board members will also review the district’s current financial situation.

Under reports, the board will hear citizen comments, a CESA update, and reports from the elementary and secondary principals, as well as the superintendent.

New business includes discussion and possible action on a junior/senior high school solar panel project, the 2025-2026 Achievement Gap Reduction plan, a proposed land swap involving district forest boundaries, and a new waste management contract.

The board will also consider several resignations, including an administrative assistant, bus driver, and elementary teacher, along with new hires for a choir teacher, custodian, and special education teacher.

The meeting is expected to conclude in closed session to confer with legal counsel regarding potential litigation, as allowed under Wisconsin law.
