Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul and a bipartisan group of 51 attorneys general are cracking down on illegal robocalls. They’ve sent warning letters to nine voice service providers accused of routing suspicious and unlawful robocalls—including scams involving Social Security, Medicare, fake Amazon charges, and student loan forgiveness. Companies like Global Net Holdings, All Access Telecom, and Telcast Network are among those targeted. Kaul says the robocall flood is “ridiculous” and vows continued efforts to fight back. The task force is also working with federal partners, including the FCC.
