The Wisconsin State Patrol is asking for the public’s help locating a man who fled from a traffic stop Tuesday morning. Authorities say the stop happened around 11 a.m. on westbound Interstate 90 near mile marker 31 in the Sparta area, close to Fort McCoy.

The man was last seen running north toward Cinder Avenue and Big Sandy Lake. He’s described as a Hispanic male believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, about 5-foot-8 and around 120 pounds, wearing a gray zip-up hoodie and white pants.

Anyone who sees the individual is asked to contact the State Patrol or the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.
