The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is now accepting bids from counties interested in hosting the Alice in Dairyland Finals in the coming years.

Counties can submit proposals to host the event in 2028, 2029, or 2030, with applications due by June first.

Each year, a different county hosts the three-day event that helps select the next Alice in Dairyland, Wisconsin’s agricultural ambassador. The finals include agribusiness tours, media interviews, candidate presentations, and public events highlighting local agriculture and businesses.

Officials say the event can bring significant economic impact. When Crawford County hosted the finals in 2025, the county saw more than two million dollars in economic activity during the three-day event.

Marathon County will host the 79th Alice in Dairyland Finals May fourteenth through the sixteenth of 2026.

More information and proposal details are available on the Alice in Dairyland website.
