Black River Country Bank (BRCB) has at its core the nurturing of personal, professional,
and financial goals and dreams each day. At the heart of that is the commitment to honor
and reward the academic excellence and extracurricular achievements of local graduating
high school seniors in order to invest in our youths’ futures.
Again this year, Black River Country Bank is making available a variety of educational
scholarships to graduating seniors as they pursue their post-secondary education. BRCB

has been awarding scholarships in our area for over 30 years – initiated at Melrose-
Mindoro High School, expanded to Black River Falls High School, and later to Lincoln High

School.
BRCB offers two separate Scholarship Applications for Alma Center-Humbird-Merrillan
School District, Black River Falls School District, and Melrose-Mindoro School District
Graduating Seniors: 1) Multiple $1,000 Black River Country Bank Scholarships (accepting
applications from graduating seniors at above listed school districts; awarded for each
district); and 2) One $1,000 Wesley and Helen Meek Scholarship. This scholarship is
Administered by Black River Country Bank and is aimed at graduating seniors from the
above districts planning to attend a Wisconsin accredited college, pursuing a career in
business or financial services.

the High School Counseling Offices. Complete Scholarship Applications should be received
