Blanche Paulette Bautch, 73, of Osseo, died on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System
in Eau Claire.
Blanche was born in rural Independence on March 19, 1952, to Lawrence and Theresa (Motszko) Dubiel.
She was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother whose heart was always with her family. She was a
proud mother to Salina, Shane, and Scott, and a deeply cherished grandma to Reese, Chase, and Evan.
She is further survived by her sister: Theresa Tiffany; and brothers: Lawrence (Mary) Dubiel, Gene
(Mary) Dubiel and Aaron (Lisa) Dubiel.
A registered nurse for over 20 years at Mayo, she spent her life caring for others with compassion and
dedication. That same care defined who she was at home—always giving, always present.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—gardening, canning, and perfecting her beloved pickle
recipe—along with cheering for her grandsons during football and basketball, cooking alongside her
granddaughter Reese, thrift shopping together, and sharing lunches filled with laughter and love.
Her kindness and unconditional love will live on through the memories she created and the lives she
touched. She will be missed deeply and remembered always with love.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Lucille Gierok, Geraldine Boshcka, and Pat Saverinski.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the
Edison Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will follow in Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery,
Independence with Father George officiating. To express condolences to her family online, please visit
