Brenda Lynnette (Jessie) Olson, 74, of Hixton, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2024.
Brenda was born on 05/09/1950 to Lyle and Mavis (Jarstad) Jessie of Northfield and graduated from Whitehall
high school.
Brenda married Michael L Olson in 1969 and together had 3 sons. After graduating from beauty school, she
enjoyed doing hair for many years. Brenda loved going to auctions, rummage sales, collecting and selling
antiques, and going to Hope Gospel Mission on Tuesdays. Camping with family in Hatfield in the summertime
was always very special to her. She was an excellent cook and baker; she spent lots of time in the garden and
canning vegetables and making strawberry jelly. Brenda was an amazing, caring and loving wife, mother,
grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was always thinking about other people and was always thoughtful in
her actions. With her strong faith in God, she always loved and never judged, her unconditional love and
compassion was like the sunshine that would warm and brighten your soul.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Michael. Their 3 sons. Christopher Olson, Corey (JoDell) Olson,
Cyle (Kristina) Olson. 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 2 sisters and 3 brothers and spouses. As
well as 3 sisters in law and spouses, many nieces and nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, her in laws Leonard and Edna Olson, 2 sisters in law and 1 granddaughter.
A celebration of life will follow in the spring/summer.
