Clark County Home and Community Education (HCE) invited you to join in a Beginner class of
Sourdough- how to using active and discard sourdough starter, taught by Valerie Wood. At this
class we will explore the art of sourdough bread making, learn a variety of tips, tricks, definitions
and tools of the process. You will also learn alternative options to save cost and space in your
kitchen with sourdough. We will make and sample a variety of active and discard recipes and
take home a recipe book and your very own starter from one of Val’s established starters.
The event will be held on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 from 9:00 AM- Noon at the Clark County
Courthouse Auditorium located at 517 Court St. Neillsville WI 54456, room 101.
