Milwaukee police report an early Sunday collision involving a Milwaukee County Transit System bus has left one person dead. The wreck happened just west of the downtown area at about 2:00 a-m. The bus driver tells police the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, ran a red light, and slammed into the bus. A 38-year-old passenger was killed. The 28-year-old driver suffered serious injuries and is listed in stable condition. The bus driver suffered minor injuries and there were no passengers on the bus. No names have been released.
