Committee of the Whole for BRF February minutes

The Committee of the Whole met at City Hall in Black River Falls on February 19. Mayor Jay Eddy presided over the meeting, with six alderpersons present and two absent.

Key decisions included approving the sale of a 1996 Pierce fire truck and recognizing the International Association of Fire Fighters as the representative for full-time EMS personnel. The Parks & Recreation Department received approval to install new playground equipment at Marks Field, funded by a local donor, and the success of the Winter Frostival event was highlighted.

Additionally, the city approved a new endowment fund agreement for the All Abilities Park, along with routine financial reports and voucher approvals for December 2024 and January 2025. The meeting adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
