Curtis M. Gilbertson, 82, died at Black River Memorial Hospital on April 22, 2025. Curtis was born in Black River Falls on May 20, 1942 to Syver Sr. and Grace (Matthews) Gilbertson. He lived in Black River Falls, WI in the town of Brockway.
Curtis proudly served in the Army for 20 years, successfully completing 2 tours in Vietnam.
Curtis enjoyed watching NASCAR races and Green Bay Packers games.
Survivors include two daughters Kimberly (Jon) Jones, and Sherry; his sister Marlene (Rodger) Williams of Black River Falls, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Irene Zeske and Sylvia Burnett; as well as four brothers, Melvin, Leonard, Clyde, and Syver J. Gilbertson.
A burial will be held at the Sullivan Cemetery on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 2pm.
