David E. Lipke, 69, of Black River Falls, passed away at his home on June 3, 2024.
He was born on April 5, 1955, in Janesville, WI to Elmer and Marian (Gunderson) Lipke. He graduated from Craig High School in 1973 and from UW Eau Claire in 1978 with a degree in Physical Education.
He was united in marriage to Tracy Driscoll on June 3, 1995. They later divorced.
David and his brother had a logging business and cut trees all over the area. He was also a skilled diesel mechanic and loved to rebuild Detroit diesel engines.
He is preceded by his parents, grandparents, and brother, Danny.
David is survived by his children, Harry Lipke of Black River Falls, Elizabeth Lipke of Eau Claire; brother, Doug (Carol) Lipke; sisters, Deb (Frank) Pete, and Dee (Tracy) Marshall and all his nieces and nephews.
The celebration of life for family and friends to attend will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at his home on Helbling Road in Black River Falls.
Torgerson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
