Adult and Teen Challenge of Western Wisconsin is excited to announce its 5th Annual Drive the Road to Recovery
event, scheduled for Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12 at the Dahl Auto Museum’s StarLite Drive-in
Theater.
We all know that addiction continues to devastate individuals, families and our community. Adult and Teen
Challenge of Western Wisconsin puts hope within reach for woman struggling with addiction and other life
controlling problems. In fact, 78% of individuals receiving care at an Adult and Teen Challenge program remain
free from addiction after graduating.
Andrea, a recent graduate, shares, “The moment I was introduced to meth was the beginning of the end for me.
It took over every aspect of my life and caused me to make really bad decisions that hurt a lot of people. I am
now living in total freedom with true healing in my heart, mind and soul. A freedom I never thought was possible
for me”.
The Drive the Road to Recovery event promises to be an unforgettable evening dedicated to supporting
individuals and families affected by addiction and life-controlling issues. Kevin Schaler, Executive Director, says,
“Our goal is not only to raise awareness and to share our freedom stories, but also to raise funds to continue our
mission of providing a low to no cost recovery program for every woman who struggles with addiction.”
