In La Crosse, Wisconsin, Adult & Teen Challenge of Western Wisconsin (ATCWW) successfully raised $175,000 at its 5th annual Drive the Road to Recovery event in October 2024. Held at the Dahl Auto Museum, the event united community members, supporters, and clients in a night filled with powerful stories of recovery and inspiration. Since its opening in November 2019, ATCWW has supported over 125 women, providing nearly 17,000 nights of shelter and care.
ATCWW operates as a low-to-no-cost residential treatment program in La Crosse, using funds from events like this to directly support clients seeking recovery from addiction. Executive Director Kevin Schaler expressed gratitude to the organization’s donors, highlighting the funds’ impact on their mission to offer transformative support.
Julie, a 53-year-old program participant set to graduate in January, shared her journey, emphasizing how ATCWW’s faith-based approach allowed her to address the root of her addiction and find renewed hope.
