In Trempealeau County, deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 3:30 a.m. on Tracy Valley Road near Highway 10 in the Town of Sumner. Heavy fog made it difficult for the driver to see the roadway. The vehicle went into a ditch, struck a bridge rail, and entered the Buffalo River.
All occupants were able to get out safely, and no injuries were reported. The Osseo Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office says the crash remains closed and is no longer under investigation.
