The name of the person killed in the early morning crash near Holmen Tuesday morning has been released. 57 year-old Billie Jo Holzer, of Trempealeau died at the scene on Highway 35, near the intersection of County Highway Double-X. Authorities were called to the crash about 4:15. That section of the highway was closed for nearly 5 hours for the investigation. The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone with any information or who may have witnessed the accident during the morning of March 12th between 1:00 – 4:30 and has yet to speak with investigators to please do so by contacting Investigator Sgt. John Williams or Investigator Richard Amundsen.
