This year, Jackson County ADRC will be hosting its first annual Senior Health Fair on June 20 th ,
2024.
Join us for this free event from 10:00am to 2:00pm on June 20th , at the Black River Falls Middle
School. We will have a large variety of vendors; special presentations including Powers of
Attorney, Healthy Nutrition, My Social Security Accounty, Scams and Bingosize; door prizes and
a light lunch will be provided. This event is open to the public regardless of age or disabilities.
Help us to continue our “In June, We Wear Purple” mission and wear purple to the event to
promote World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month. As a
community, we are working to highlight two pertinent issues affecting older adults; elder abuse
and Alzheimer’s disease, which both are recognized nationally in the month of June.
