James (Jim) Richard Schachtely, 78 of Wilton, died peacefully in his home on January 16, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Military Honors will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM with a Celebration of Life to follow until 4:00 PM at the Hanson-Stark-Leith-Paeth American Legion Post 508, 508 Walker St. Wilton, WI.
